Think about global issue of hunger and poverty. Use Wordle to create a cloud of words you would use to describe this problem. Be sure to include the words "hunger" and "poverty" in your list.

Hunger and Poverty Locally

The students will have a guest speaker from Mary's Soup Kitchen and follow up by taking a quiz on world hunger.



Hunger Geocaching Activity

The students will geocache to find facts on hunger around the world.


Hunger and Poverty Activity

The students will create a Voice Thread that they will share to raise awareness on world hunger and poverty. The students will divide into four groups, locate information on the topic and create slides for the Voice Thread. The students will gather and obtain information from the following sites:
